Upload your digital camera pictures.
Although Polaroid is most known for its instant development cameras, the company produces a wide range of digital cameras. These cameras take high resolution images and store the information onto a removable memory card. After taking the pictures, you can upload them onto your computer, where you can back them up as well as share them with other individuals over the Internet.
Instructions
1. Plug the USB data cable into the USB port on the side of the Polaroid digital camera. Insert the opposite end of the USB cable into any USB port on your computer. The USB port will be a rectangular opening on the computer, located either at the front, in back or on the side of the computer, depending on your computer model. You may even has more than one USB port on your computer, any of which will work for you upload.
2. Power on the Polaroid digital camera. Your computer will display a message that states it has detected a new removable device.
3. Click "Start" followed by either "My Computer" or "Computer." A new window will open that displays all the computer's available drives and devices. Double-click the removable device icon in the new window to launch a display with all of the images currently stored on the camera.
4. Click-and-drag the images from the camera display to any location on the computer. This can be the desktop, "My Documents" or any other self-created folder. To move all of the photos from the camera to the computer at one time, click once within the camera display window and click "Ctrl + A" to "Select All." A progress bar appears at the top of the screen, showing you how long the complete file transfer will take.
5. Close out the Polaroid digital camera window once you have finished uploading the pictures from the digital camera. Right-click the removable device icon and choose "Eject" from the pull-down menu. Once the icon disappears, you can disconnect the camera from your computer.
