Watch video on a Sony Handycam.
The Sony Handycam has the ability to store hours of video footage. Once video is stored on the camera, you can watch it right from the Handycam's small screen attached to the side of the camera. Before you attempt to watch any video, make sure the camera's battery is either charged or being charged. If the battery is dead, you will not be able to turn the Handycam on to watch any video.
Instructions
1. Turn the power on the Sony Handycam. The power button is located directly above the battery on the back of the camera.
2. Flip open the video screen on the side of the camera.
3. Press the "View Images" button located on the bottom left side of the touch screen. The icon for this button is a triangle pointing toward the right.
4. The "Movies" icon looks like a piece of film.
Press the "Movies" tab on the touch screen to watch video stored on the camera. The icon for this looks like a piece of film. Videos stored on the camera will start playing in the order they were recorded and/or saved.
