Instructions

1. Press the "Setup" button on the remote.
2. Select "Screen Setup." By doing so, you can view three options: TV Type, Screen Saver and Background.
Change TV Type
3. Use this option to select aspect ratio of the TV. You will notice four options.
4. View the first option of 4:3 Letter Box. Select this option if you have a standard TV. This setup shows upper and lower bands with a wide picture display.
5. Prefer the second option of 4:3 Pan Scan. Select this option if you have a standard TV. This setup shows screen wide picture though a part of it is cut off.
6. Go in for the next option of 16:9 Wide Mode. Select this option if you have a wide screen TV or to connect a standard TV with Wide Mode on.
7. Notice the last option of 4:3 Wide Mode. Select this option if you have a wide screen TV or to connect a standard TV with Wide Mode on. This setup shows upper and lower bands with a wide picture display.
Change Screen Saver
8. Set this option to "On." By doing so, you can also save the TV screen from damage occurring due to constant display of the same image. The Screen Saver appears after 15 minutes of pause or when the same CD plays for more than 15 minutes.
Change Background
9. Use this option to alter the background color or image of your TV when a CD is playing or the TV is in the Stop mode. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to make the desired changes. Choose from the following five options.
10. Select the "Jacket Picture." This option requires the disc to have a recorded jacket picture that can be used as a background for the TV screen. The TV screen shows an already stored jacket picture if a disc without its own jacket picture is played.
11. Choose "Picture Memory." Select this option to use a favorite picture/scene from a disc stored in the player's memory.
12. Go in for "Graphics." This option allows you to use a favorite image as a background. The image should first be stored in the player's memory.
13. Select the "Blue" option to set the TV screen blue.
14. Choose the "Black" option to set the TV screen black.
