Save your camera's photos to your computer.
Digital cameras come with a lot of space for taking pictures, but once the camera runs out of room, the photos will need to be deleted or transferred to your computer. Once the photos are loaded onto your hard drive, you can view and edit them in your computer's photo editing software.
Instructions
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Connect one end of the USB data cable to your camera and the other end to your computer.
3. Turn on your digital camera. A message will display on your camera's screen that the images are transferring.
4. Look for an "Open With" pop-up window. Click "Select Folder" among the options. Browse to the folder with the images and double-click it to open.
5. Select all the photos and videos you want to copy.
6. Right-click on any one of the selected photos and choose "Copy" from the drop-down menu.
7. Browse to the folder on your computer where you want to save these photos; right-click in the window and choose "Paste."
8. Wait for all the photos to copy over before closing the window.
