Unlock An At&T Gtx75 Quickfire Tmobile 3g Phone

The Quickfire GTX75 is a cellular phone manufactured by the HTC Corporation for UT Starcom. It is sold by AT&T, but you can unlock the phone for use on T-Mobile's network. The primary hurdle is the subsidy lock, which prevents the user from using a non-AT&T SIM card. Once you obtain the subsidy lock passcode and enter it into the phone, the Quickfire will recognize a SIM card from any company.

Instructions

1. Obtain your phone's subsidy lock passcode. AT&T will provide the unlock code under certain circumstances. Your account must be active for a minimum of 90 days, and the account must be current and in good standing.

2. Turn the phone to portrait mode.

3. Open the dial pad screen and enter "*#865625#". The phone will display a message stating that you are about to SIM unlock the phone, and that entering the code incorrectly five times will lock the device.

4. Press the "OK" button.

5. Enter the subsidy passcode and press "Done". The phone is now unlocked.
