Make A Dvd From Samsung Camcorder Images

Blank DVDs allow you to share your home movies with everyone.

Camcorders allow you to capture the birthdays, vacations, holidays, the moments in your life that matter the most, on film. However, if you want to view these videos on anything other than a computer or the camcorder itself, you must burn them to a DVD first. For Samsung camcorder owners, this is an easy process that is made even easier by the Power Producer software that came with their camcorder. You can burn a DVD with your Samsung camcorder using only this software and the camcorder's PC connection cable.

Instructions

1. Connect the camcorder to the computer's USB port via the USB connection cable that came with the camcorder. Turn the camcorder on. If the camcorder uses a memory card, you may insert the memory card into the computer's appropriate memory card reader in lieu of using the connection cable.

2. Open the Power Producer program that came with the camcorder on the computer. If you have not installed the Power Producer program, insert the installation disc that came with the camcorder into the disc drive of the computer and do so now.

3. Click the "Produce Movie Disc" option in the Power Producer application window.

4. Click the "Disc Type" drop-down menu on the "Select Your Disc" screen and select what type of blank DVD you are using. Select "MPEG-4" from the "Video Recording Format" drop-down menu. Specify the storage capacity of the blank DVD you are using with the "Disc Capacity" drop-down menu and specify the aspect ratio for the finished movie (4:3 standard or 16:9 wide screen) with the "Playback Aspect Ratio" drop-down menu.

5. Click the "Content" option and select the camcorder video images you wish to save on the DVD. When you are finished, click the "OK" button.

6. Insert a blank DVD into the computer's disc drive.

7. Click the "Disc Volume" option on the "Final Output" screen and select the disc drive you inserted the blank DVD into. Type the name you wish to give the DVD in the space provided.

8. Click the "Burn" button to begin burning the DVD. Allow several minutes for the burning process to finish.
