Make Ringtones For At&T

Customers that have AT&T as their wireless provider can purchase ringtones for AT&T cell phones from the company website. Wireless customers can also search on the Internet for free AT&T ringtones. Spending money on ringtones and downloading ringtones from an unfamiliar website may not interest you, though. AT&T customers also have the option of creating ringtones for their cell phones online. Doing so gives you the option of turning your favorite audio file into an AT&T ringtone for free.

Instructions

The Steps

1. Begin by knowing which song on your computer you want to make into an AT&T ringtone.

2. Go to the Myxer page that is listed in the Resources section.

3. Click "Browse." Search for the song that you selected in step one. Double click that file and then click "Upload." An advertisement will play. When it is done, a new rectangular window will open on the Web page.

4. Move the location of the shaded box inside of the audio animation at the top of the rectangular window. Do this by clicking the inside of the box and then dragging it to the left or right. Moving the box will change when the AT&T ringtone begins.

5. Click inside the "Length" box. Type in a number. This number will be how many seconds the AT&T ringtone will run before the incoming call goes to your voicemail. Most ringtones go no less than 15 seconds and no greater than 30 seconds.

6. Click "Continue."

7. Type the number for your AT&T phone in the "Phone Number" box.

8. Click "Send to Phone." The AT&T ringtone will be created.

9. Read the instructions that appear on the screen for saving the AT&T ringtone to your phone. These instructions vary for different cell phones. You can also find instructions for your specific AT&T phone by clicking the "Download Instructions" link in the Resources section below.
