Use Comcast'S Dvr







Comcast allows you to schedule and record your favorite television shows and play them back at a later time. Subscribers of Comcast cable receive a DVR cable box and a remote used to control the DVR features. While the interface of the DVR box may seem daunting, the menu interface is intuitive, and you can master the use of the DVR system quickly.


Instructions


Record Show


1. Press the "Menu" button on your Comcast remote.


2. Use the right arrow button on your remote to select the "DVR" icon from the "Quick Menu" on your screen.


3. Press the "OK" button on your remote.


4. Use the arrow buttons on the remote to select "Set a Recording." Press "OK" on the remote.


5. Select "Find Shows to Record" and press "OK." You have the following options: "Search by Title," "Search by Actor/Director," "Search by Keyword," and "Saved Searches." Press "OK" once your option is selected.


6. Highlight the show that you want to record and press the "OK" button. A description of the TV show appears.


7. Select the red "Record" icon at the bottom of the screen and press "OK."


8. Press "OK" at the "Record this Program" screen.








9. Press "OK" at the "Confirm" screen. Your show is set to record.


Playback


10. Press the "Menu" button.


11. Select the "DVR" icon from the "Quick Menu."


12. Press "OK."


13. Select "My Recordings."


14. Highlight the show that you want to watch, then press "OK."
