A BP-FH70 battery pack is compatible with certain Sony camcorders.
BP-FH70 is the model number for a rechargeable, long life, lithium battery pack that is compatible with more than 20 different models of camcorders manufactured by Sony. The battery pack can be used as a backup battery pack or as the primary battery pack. The BP-FH70 battery pack provides longer life to the camcorder than the standard battery pack that comes in Sony camcorders. The only way to charge the battery pack is by placing it into the camcorder and allowing the battery pack to charge through the camcorder.
Instructions
1. Turn the camcorder off by turning the power knob to the "Off" setting.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the camcorder. In most models of Sony camcorders that are compatible with the battery pack, the battery slides into the back of the camcorder, under the viewfinder. However, it can also slide onto the bottom of the camcorder.
3. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical out. Connect the AC adapter to the "DC IN" jack, located on the front, side or back of the camcorder. If you are unsure where the jack is located, refer to the manual for your specific Sony camcorder model.
4. Remove the AC adapter from the camcorder after allowing it to charge for four hours. The battery is fully charged when the charge light on the camcorder turns off.
