Sync a Palm Centro to Outlook
The Palm Centro is one of the most popular smartphones on the market, and with the HotSync Manager software, you can synchronize your phone with data from your PC computer. HotSync works with Microsoft Outlook 2003 or later and lets you sync calendar, contact, and task information with your Centro. After the first successful sync, all changes you make in Outlook will automatically transfer to your phone.
Instructions
1. Download and install the HotSync software on your PC computer. See the Resources for a link.
2. Click on the radio button next to "Microsoft Outlook" when the installation program asks you how you want to set up the HotSync software.
3. Connect your Palm Centro to your PC computer using the Palm USB transfer cable or cradle.
4. Right click on "HotSync Manager" icon in the Windows task tray and choose "Settings."
5. Go to the "Applications" tab on the left side of the window.
6. Check the "Calendar," "Contacts," and "Tasks" boxes and then click "Done" to save the settings.
7. Click on the "HotSync" button on your Palm Centro transfer cable to begin the syncing process. Data from Outlook will now be transferred to your device.
