Use A Polaroid I633 Digital Camera As A Webcam

There are hundreds of web cams available on the market and even more digital cameras. Yet Polaroid has taken things one step further by creating a digital camera that not only takes still photos, but also works as a web cam. The camera works even better than most web cams because it has a larger number of pixels. Using the Polaroid i633 digital camera as a web cam is very easy as long as you use the accessories and software that comes with your camera.

Instructions

1. Install the software that comes with your camera onto your computer. You should follow the prompts when given and answer any questions they ask. When given the option to register your camera, go ahead and register it. This protects your camera against any damage that may occur.

2. Connect the USB cord to the USB slot on your computer and attach the second end to your digital camera. Your computer will recognize the device and instantly begin running the software you installed earlier.

3. Find a steady place to rest your camera while you use it as a web cam. You don’t want it to tip over or fall down while using it. This is a good time to use the tripod that comes with the camera.

4. Check the window that appears on your computer screen to see how you look on the web cam and adjust the camera angle as needed.

5. Use your digital camera as a web cam as long as you need it. Once done you just need to shut down the program and disconnect the USB cord from your computer and camera. Then store the camera until you need it again.
