The Sony EyeToy is a small webcam designed for use with the PlayStation 2. Games that take advantage of the EyeToy use it to integrate a player's face into games, for motion capture and for video chat. Connecting the EyeToy to your computer is simple, as it functions like any other piece of USB hardware. All you have to do is install the proper drivers. The EyeToy's camera and microphone will be fully functional with any program.

1. Open your Control Panel. Click "Start" in the Windows taskbar and select "Control Panel".
2. Click "System". Select the "Hardware" tab. Open "Device Manager."
3. Connect the EyeToy to an available USB port. After it is detected, click the plus (+) symbol next to "Universal Serial Bus controllers". Note the name it displays. It will be either Namtai or Logitech.
