1. Share photos with Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) devices with a push of a button. These can consist of cameras and PCs. You can send and receive pictures in real time and store them in your camera. Configure the access points to establish your network. In the settings option on the camera menu, click on new connection, then manual settings. The set-up screen will appear and fill in the fields to your specification. You can also use auto scan to simplify the process.
2. Take pictures by sliding the camera lever at the top of the camera to open the lens cover. Hold the camera steady and keep your arms at the side. Minimize blur by configuring your camera and utilizing the Super Steady Shot feature. This Sony camera has optical image stabilization and Carl Zeiss lens that helps make the pictures sharper with good contrast.
3. Store pictures from the memory stick duo to the 2.0GB internal memory. The camera allows you to transfer pictures between these two storage areas. Select "Scan Images" on the screen menu. When asked to add unregistered images, click "OK." The copying will start so wait a few minutes. You can also cancel the copying by pressing "Cancel."
4. Capture moments using different shooting modes and scene selection. Click the "Home" button on the right side of the camera and press the navigation buttons to select categories. To switch shooting modes, press "Home" and select the "Camera" button for taking picture, or the "Movie" mode to take videos. While in the still image "Camera" mode, select the scene that you want to use to take the picture. You can choose among high sensitivity, twilight, soft snap, snow, fireworks, beach, hi-speed and landscape. Click on your selected scene and start taking pictures.
