Change My Voice Mail Message On Optus Pre Paid Mobile

Optus is an Australian mobile phone company. According to the Optus website, the company is a leader in incorporated telecommunications and brings customers cutting-edge technology and entertainment services (Ref. 1). When one is unable to answer their Optus pre-paid mobile phone, the call will be answered by the Voice mail system (Ref. 2). Like most mobile phones, the user can customize their personalized voice mail greeting that friends and family hear before leaving a message (Ref. 2). When the phone is initially connected, voice mail is automatically set up (Ref. 2).


Instructions


1. Access Voice mail by dialing 321 on the phone and hitting the "Send" button. The user will be prompted to enter their personal identification number (PIN) followed by the pound "#" key to access their voice mail (Ref. 2).


2. Press the number "8" on the keypad to select "User Options" (Ref. 2).








3. Select the number "4" on the keypad to access the "Setup Options" menu (Ref. 2).








4. Choose the number "4" to change the personal greeting. The user will be prompted to record a new personal greeting. Follow the instructions to record the new greeting (Ref. 2).
