Take Great Pictures Using A Nikon D40

Take great pictures with the Nikon D40.

As with any other professional camera, a Nikon D40 is capable of taking outstanding photos. However, the art behind taking a great picture lies with the person taking it. Potography knowledge and skill help take a quality photo, as does a professional camera like the Nikon D40.

Instructions

1. Alter your settings as necessary. Make sure you have the proper settings (such as ISO and shutter speed) for bright sunlight, dim indoor light, and action or still shots.

2. Use a flash to fill in shadows or when the ambient light is low.

3. Alter the light meters of your Nikon D40. Keep changing them until they are the right settings for your photos.

4. Shoot with the correct lens. Some lenses are better for close-up, far away, low light or wide-angle shots. Make sure your lens choice works with your photo's subject.

5. Take many pictures. Examine your photos after each setting change to ensure you are making the correct changes. You can delete any unwanted photos later.
