Location Of The Cd Changer In A 2005 Nissan Maxima

Some 2005 Nissan Maxima models have a six-disc CD changer, while others have a single-disc player. The CD changer in older cars is sometimes in the trunk or another area, but this is not the case with the 2005 Maxima. The Maxima's CD changer is an in-dash model. Some 2005 Maximas also have a cassette player, but the CD changer is in the same place in these vehicles as well.

Instructions

1. Start up your 2005 Maxima and inspect the center area of the dash to find the radio.

2. Look for the radio's preset bar. The bar has six buttons for each radio preset, which are labeled "1" through "6." The CD feed slot is beneath the radio's preset bar.

3. Look to the left of the CD feed slot to determine if your Maxima has the CD changer. If it has the CD changer, you'll see an "Arrow" button directly to the left of the feed slot, as well as an "Eject" button to the right of the feed slot. If it does not have the CD changer, there will only be an "Eject" button to the right of the feed slot.

4. Push the "Arrow" button to load a CD. The display screen will ask you to specify a slot. Press any of the radio preset buttons to choose your slot. The display screen will prompt you to insert the disc. Insert the CD with the label facing up.

5. Repeat Step 4 to insert another CD. Make sure you choose a different CD slot for each disc you insert. If you try to insert a disc into a slot that is full, the screen will display "Full."
