Open The Usb Flap On A Motorola Razr2

The Motorola Razr2 cell phone is equipped with a mini-USB port that allows you to connect the phone to a computer. This enables you to download photos and other digital data to your computer or upload files such as a calendar or address book from your computer to the cell phone. With the right software, you can also use your computer and USB cable to charge the Razr2. But first, you have to open the phone's USB flap, which this tutorial explains do.

Instructions

1. Hold the phone in your hand and turn it on the side with the right-hand side facing up.

2. Look for the small, rectangular flap on the edge of the phone near the top.

3. Use your thumbnail to pull back the flap over the USB port. The flap has a raised edge to grip, and is mounted on a rubber hinge to swing down.

4. Insert the mini-USB jack into the port on the Razr2, taking care to align the plug with the port in the right direction (it only inserts one way).

5. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer. The Razr2 is a plug-and-play device, meaning your computer will recognize new hardware as soon as it is plugged in. Just follow the prompts to download or upload data from one device to the other.
