Move Bluetooth Ringtones From One Phone To Another







Moving ringtones from one mobile device to another, via Bluetooth, can be done by pressing a few buttons on your mobile device keypad. You can learn transfer and share your ringtones from your mobile device in no time. This technique is easily understood, anyone can do it and it does not require much knowledge or technical skill.

1. Enable the Bluetooth technology feature on both mobile devices, by powering on the Bluetooth signal. On both mobile devices, press the "Menu" key on your phone's keypad and select the "Settings/Tools" icon that will be listed on your mobile device menu. Press the "Connection" icon folder and your Bluetooth settings and "Power On" or "Enable" your Bluetooth capability.


2. Pair the mobile devices. Pairing is considered an establishment of a line of communication link between the two mobile devices. Click on the "Search for New Device," which can be found in your "Bluetooth" subfolder, within your "Tools" icon folder. Click "Add New Device" and a notification screen will be sent to the importing mobile device. This device will need to confirm and accept the pairing invitation.


3. Confirm and accept the pairing invitation by establishing a pass code agreement. This pass code is usually "0000" or "1234." These are easily detectable codes for both devices to read legibly. Enter one of these four digit pass codes, and click "Pair with Device." Enter the same four-digit pass code to establish the agreement.


4. Send your ringtone audio files. Locate and select the model name and number of the importing mobile device you just paired with and click "Send Media." Click on this action and select "Ringtones," which will be listed under the different types of media you can transfer. Select the ringtone audio file you desire to transfer and press the "Send Media" action.








5. Accept the media transfer when the messaging notification appears on the importing mobile device screen. Play the ringtone file back to ensure that it works properly. Click on the "Store File" option to save the file to the importing mobile device's internal storage. The ringtone will now automatically appear in your mobile device's media and ringtone storage folder.
