Copy Photos From A Computer To A Digital Frame

Consisting of an LCD screen, printed circuit board, and outer frame, a digital photo frame can display one static image or change between many images as a slideshow, eliminating the need for extra photo frames. copy photos from your computer to your digital photo frame depends on the manufacturer and the frame's capabilities, but most frames provide certain standard features.


Instructions


USB File Transfer


1. Copy the images from your camera to your computer.


2. Plug a USB cable into the USB slot located on the frame and plug the other end of the cable into your computer.


3. Turn on the digital photo frame. Your computer should recognize the frame as an external drive.


4. Open the folder with your photos and select the photos you wish to move by clicking on them. To select multiple files, hold "Control" and click each file individually.


5. Drag your selected photos to the digital photo frame icon on your desktop. Your photos will transfer to your frame.


Memory Card


6. Save the images on from your computer or camera on a memory card. This setting can be adjusted on your camera so that the photo is saved to the card when the photo is taken and is the default setting for most cameras. Alternatively, if your photos are on your computer and it is equipped with multimedia slots, insert the memory card and drag photos to the memory card icon to copy photos to the card.


7. Remove the memory card from your computer or camera.


8. Insert the memory card into the memory card slot on the digital photo frame until it clicks into place. Many frames come with multiple slots to accommodate different sizes of memory cards.


9. Turn on the digital photo frame. Depending on your frame, there may be additional setup steps to create your image slide show.


Bluetooth Enabled Cameras and Frames


10. Turn on the digital photo frame and make sure that the unit is "Discoverable" by going to the Bluetooth settings and selecting this option. The location of this option in the software will vary from frame to frame.


11. Turn on your digital camera or phone, depending on the location of your photos, and make sure that the Bluetooth settings are also set to "Discoverable."


12. Pair the Bluetooth devices. From your camera or phone, select the option that allows you to discover other Bluetooth devices. A list of other Bluetooth-enabled devices in the area will appear. Select your digital photo frame.


13. Select the images you wish to send to the frame and select the "Send via Bluetooth" option on your device. It is usually a menu choice when the image is selected. If unsure, check the operations manual for your phone or camera.
