Arrange Applications On An Iphone 3g Start Menu

The iPhone 3G comes equipped with practical software applications like the Safari web browser, monthly calendar, YouTube and iTunes Store. When you first turn on your iPhone, your Start menu appears on your screen, displaying your available apps as small squares in rows of four. If you find that you do not like the arrangement of your iPhone apps and would prefer to organize them in a way that better suits your needs, you can rearrange the entire menu using only your index finger.

Instructions

1. Awaken your iPhone 3G by pressing the "Home" button directly beneath your screen, indicated by an image of a square. To unlock the phone, slide the arrow symbol from the left side of the screen to the right using your finger.

2. Press your finger over any of the 20 application icons on your Start menu. Continue to press down until all of the apps on your screen begin to shake, indicating that you can now freely move them.

3. Place your finger on an app that you want to move. Drag your finger in any direction along the screen and the app will follow. To move the app to a different page, drag it to the right edge or left edge of the screen until the page changes.

4. Click your "Home" button to lock your apps in place after you finish rearranging the icons to your liking.
